Traditional Adult Martial ArtsOom Yung Doe is true Traditional Martial Art, offering training as it has been taught in Asia for centuries. The goal is not just to improve your condition or self-defense, but to truly "win over yourself" and reach your fullest potential mentally, physically, and spiritually. Adult Martial Arts students (ages 17 and up) learn correct and balanced movements from all eight styles. Movements including short and long forms (sequences of movements), practical self defense techniques, and foundation techniques as well as how to incorporate the use of herbs and meditation in order to protect and enhance the effectiveness of their practice. The correct and balanced nature of the program, as well as the individual attention given to each student, makes this training effective for all ages, body types and conditions. Students train for a variety of reasons ranging from self defense, to getting in shape or loosing weight, to reducing stress levels, and much more.
See what you can achieve! The photos at the right show the development it is possible for adult martial arts students to gain through consistent training in a relatively short period of time. The best way to see how Oom Yung Doe practice can help you achieve your goals is to experience training. We recommend you challenge yourself to train for 3 days per week for one month. Most adult martial arts students start seeing changes within the first month of training.
Even if you are considering other martial arts schools, this will help you make a more informed decision about where to train, and what you can achieve through Traditional Martial Arts. Few things are more valuable than your time. Choosing a martial arts school that can help you attain your goals quickly is worth it. Adult Martial Arts
