HONORARY BLACK BELT AWARDED
Congratulations to Christian Beaver for being awarded an Honorary Black Belt from the Grandmaster “Iron” Kim style School of Oom Yung Doe. Christian received this recognition because of the work he has done serving the San Diego community connecting people with substance abuse issues with recovery centers and assisting them in their recovery. Exemplifying the martial art principle “A Match For A Thousand” Christian has spent many nights walking the streets of San Diego seeking out individuals in need of help and connecting them with the services they need.
To support Christian, Oom Yung Doe is teaching him advanced, sometimes secret, techniques to do and pressure points to touch to keep his health and condition balanced as well as increase his mental and physical energy. Throughout history traditional martial artists have shared this knowledge with individuals who have committed their lives to helping others, often at the expense of their own well-being.

WHAT STUDENTS SAY
“… I have become virtually impervious to stress. In the workplace I have noticed a dramatic improvement in my ability to evaluate situations,
make good decisions and..I have noticed some very pronounced financial benefits as a result of my training.”
“I have increased energy, reduced stress, a clearer focus and a healthier perspective.”
“I no longer hesitated or wondered if I could do it, over time I just did it...This quickly spilled out into my life helping me to become more of the self-sufficient, confident woman that I now am.”
“...Oom Yung Doe is helping my son feel stronger as a person, and to use this new strength to approach the difficulties of reading, writing and relationships. “
“Three months later, my InBody scan showed a loss of 20 pounds of fat and a gain of 3 pounds of muscle. I actually gained muscle while losing weight. And I feel dramatically stronger. I can move around much easier, get up and down off the floor, and even run without feeling overexerted.”
“After practicing your techniques the students felt less stressed and more confident during their week of final exams. I feel that every college professor should offer your techniques to enhance their students' performance both physically and mentally throughout the year.”
“The lessons that I learned regarding fall techniques, I feel, saved my life.”
“...my body-clock has spun back about five years to a time when I did not have to limp, groan, stretch and squirm at least an hour each morning to stand straight enough to make a pot of coffee.”
“The first change was my back condition, which gained much lower body strength and flexibility and my mental flexibility allowing me to figure different ways to get things accomplished in a timely manner.”
“The results are in: this past semester (the first semester after my training) I received the highest grades of my entire life, by a huge margin. Even more incredible was the ease at which I was able to get those grades…”
“...my Doctor is perplexed by my reduced need for high doses of medication and cheers me on with, “Keep going."
“I also found all the challenge and potential for growth that I could ever have wanted – in mind, body, and spirit. Through the training, I’ve gained a lot of self-discipline, will-power, and inner strength.”
"At Oom Yung Doe, I discovered a school that works with the entire individual. The discipline involves creating strength in mind, body and overall spiritual development. In less than three months, I have gained an improvement in balance and increased energy."
“Experiencing all these forms has changed my mental outlook and the physical ability to have an active life.”
“I am calmer throughout the day, better able to focus...I also do not become frustrated so easily.”

How you benefit from
traditional martial arts training.
Traditional martial arts positively affect the body’s circulation and chi. These two elements are the source of your condition and how you feel at this moment. If your circulation and/or chi are not functioning properly it can manifest itself in an endless assortment of physical or mental issues. Once your circulation and chi are brought back into balance the symptoms caused by the imbalance improve or disappear. Oom Yung Doe movements balance both your circulation and chi.
Building strength in character, in mind and in spirit is the most important reason that people have, for centuries, sought the opportunity to train in Oom Yung Doe. When striving to succeed and better one’s self you develop not only a self-respect, but a concern and respect for others. This type of respect is one which begins in each individual’s heart and it is an expression of the concern one develops for the value and quality of life.
